Biography

Mark has over 30 years of experience as a business executive and lawyer in the Canadian and international resources sector. In private practice Mark advised clients all over the world and his work included expatriate postings in Russia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Later, as a senior executive in a state-owned resource company, Mark navigated intricate corporate governance issues with an institutional (government) shareholder, managed a $3 billion debt portfolio and helped lead business development efforts while also advising on business and legal matters. Mark received his Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Saskatchewan and remains an active member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Stacey Clark

Biography

Stacey Clark assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the inception of CRR, playing a pivotal role during the company's startup phase. With over 15 years of experience in the energy and resource sector, she has held influential leadership positions spanning operations, finance, and management consulting. Presently, Ms. Clark plays a dual role, overseeing both operations and finance. She is recognized as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and earned her Bachelor's degree in Management from the University of Lethbridge.

Biography

Tim brings over 32 years of experience in the energy and investment banking industry, having led Barclay Capital’s investment banking operations in Canada for the past 15 years. His experience encompasses all aspects of capital markets and strategic advisory. He served on the Board of Barclay Capital Canada, Chaired the Foundation Board for the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and currently serves as a director on the Board of Irving Oil. Mr. Kitchen holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and holds an ICD.D Designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Jeff DeBlock

Biography

Jeff DeBlock is Managing Director for CBRE IM's Private Infrastructure business focused exclusively on the infrastructure investment program. Jeff has over 15 years of diverse infrastructure experience with direct principal investment experience in North America, Europe, Australia, and South America. Prior to joining CBRE IM, Jeff worked in the Private Investments – Infrastructure group at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. During his tenure, CPPIB’s infrastructure AUM grew from a few hundred million to nearly $10 billion. Previously, Jeff worked at BMO Capital Markets in the Investment Banking – Power & Utilities Group. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of the Western Ontario.

Robert Shaw

Biography

Robert is a Managing Director with CBRE IM's Private Infrastructure business focused exclusively on the direct infrastructure investment program. Prior to joining the direct infrastructure team, Rob was Senior Director, Legal, where he led the private infrastructure legal department and advised on the structuring and execution of investment opportunities. Previously, Rob practiced law at Tory's LLP with a focus on infrastructure and private equity mergers and acquisitions. Rob earned his Juris Doctor and MBA from Osgood Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business at York University. Rob also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from Queen’s University, where he was recognized as a CIS Academic All-Canadian while playing varsity basketball for the Golden Gaels.
